Volunteers
Volunteers play a very important role in the operation of the Essex Library. Among the many tasks they perform are: shelving of books and materials, helping prepare materials to go one the shelves, reading and organizing shelves, special projects, and assisting with special library events (hosting, baking for programs, book sales, etc.) The library is greatly indebted to its hundreds of volunteer "family members".
